For our first Saturday in September, we welcome DE CAJóN Project. They are a community arts organization dedicated to educating populations about the cultural contributions by people of African descent in Peru. As a movement, DE CAJóN facilitates music and dance workshops; offers lectures; performs widely throughout the Pacific Northwest; and builds inter-cultural communities through art. Come see their Afro-Peruvian dance and music performance.
