Come join the library and the Mount Si High School Astronomy Club to celebrate the annular solar eclipse that will cross North, Central, and South America. The Astronomy Club will be giving a presentation and allowing you to get a look through their 12-inch Dobsonian telescope with a solar filter. There will be games, crafts, stories, and special guests! We will make pinhole viewers and other space-related items!
Eclipse glasses will be handed out at this event! So, come join your community in experiencing the moon coming between us and our favorite star, the Sun!
This will be held on the library lawn. Please, bring blankets and chairs to comfortably view the eclipse. In case of cloudy weather, other events and refreshments will still be served.
Breakfast Foods will be provided by the Friends of the North Bend Library.
