That same evening, Macy’s will continue the tradition of the Holiday Star Lighting ceremony in conjunction with the annual lighting of the Westlake Center Tree and the Downtown Seattle Association’s Holiday Carousel at Westlake Park. The famous 161-foot high, 60 foot wide, 3,600-bulb Holiday Star is a Seattle favorite. This event begins at 5 p.m. and will include an incredible fireworks display (weather permitting).
