FARF 5K Superhero Run & Free Kids 1K

Calendar/Event Details

The FARF 5k is a Superhero themed run/walk that raises money for the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund in honor of Blake Robison from Maple Valley and brothers Isaac and Avery Graham-Anderson from Renton. Blake, Isaac, and Avery were all born with Fanconi Anemia. We hope that by raising money all three of them can live long and healthy lives. These boys love Superheroes and dressing up, so dust off your cape and mask and help us run to fight Fanconi Anemia!

The FARF 5K Superhero Run takes place on Labor Day at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley, WA. Competitive runners, fun runners, walkers, junior athletes, families and strollers are all invited. Costumes are encouraged. Enjoy the FREE Kids Fun Run and other fun family activities such as free face painting, balloon animals, photo booth and more!

Experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest on our new 2019 FARF 5K course at Lake Wilderness in Maple Valley, WA. Run alongside the shores of scenic Lake Wilderness and through beautiful, forested scenery on wide and well maintained trails. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Rainier. You won't want to miss a single step of this course.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed because of liability and insurance issues.
