FOCS Summer Park Days

Calendar/Event Details

Our Summer Park Days are back—and we’d love for you to join us! These free, family-centered gatherings are a chance for BIPOC families across Seattle to come together, build new friendships, and reconnect with our growing FOCS community.

Whether you're new to FOCS or have been with us for years, all BIOPC families and all ages are welcome.
We’ll provide free culturally affirming food and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Park Days are about honoring and cherishing the cultural roots and stories of where BIPOC families come from. They create opportunities to connect with nature, affirm children’s development, and celebrate their unique identities—while facilitating cross-cultural learning and appreciation.

Come be in community with us this summer!

Our June Park Day will be at Seahurst Park, centering on “Juneteenth: Liberation and Freedom”

We’ll be celebrating the Black diaspora, Black joy, and enjoying catered soul food.
