The United Nations declared Universal Children's Day on November 20th, 1954 as a way to encourage countries around the world to "promote (children's) right to survive and thrive." At the Children's Museum of Tacoma, we honor children and champion play, every day. Paying special honor to children this week, museum guests will be invited to contribute to a collaborative self-reflection piece that will showcase your child's unique gifts and contributions to our community.
