From Saturday, January 18th through Saturday, March 15th, the ZAPP Zine Collection will be open weekly from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoons. No appointments are needed to visit the collection during those times. Everyone is welcome to drop in and visit the collection during these weekly hours.
The ZAPP Zine Collection includes over 30,000 zines and other self-published or small press titles on a wide range of topics, including music, politics, art, food and literature. Many zines feature voices and perspectives outside of the literary mainstream, including BIPOC authors, queer and trans authors, and youth and young adults.
The ZAPP Zine Collection is available for in-Library use only. The collection is open to the public by appointment during the Central Library's open hours. Please provide at least two weeks' notice for your preferred appointment time.
