Sunrise Co op in the Renton Highlands is hosting an open house on Saturday, August 23rd, from 10am-12pm!
We are a play-based preschool open to all families that would like to see their child involved in an early education environment supported by caring, experienced teachers and a community of parents that keep our school and students thriving! Students have an opportunity each day to create art, develop fine and gross motor skills through our sensory stations and gym room, learn social skills and build friendships during play and at circle times, while also fostering a joy for learning through teacher-led activities.
Our families are integral to the running of the school through volunteering in the classroom a few days a month and either serving on our board or taking on a parent job that supports the needs of the classroom and students. Our program is partnered with Bellevue College, and parents will get to enjoy a parent education meeting each month that covers relevant topics for every family with young children. These meetings are put on by our wonderful and experienced parent educators from Bellevue College.
