Providence Hospice of Seattle will hold its 19th annual Pediatric Luncheon on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, to raise funds to help seriously ill and grieving children get the care they deserve, regardless of their financial circumstances. Keynote speaker is Taylor Dowdle, a college student who benefitted from Providence Hospice of Seattle’s grief services after her father died suddenly when she was in sixth grade. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program will begin at noon at the Washington State Convention Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle. Participants will not be charged for lunch, but a gift of $150 will be requested. Money raised at the luncheon will help fund Providence Hospice of Seattle's children’s hospice and palliative care program, specialized children’s grief support, and Camp Erin-King County. These critical programs, which benefit terminally ill and grieving children, would not be possible without generous donations.
