Calendar/Event Details

LEARN HOW YOUNG CHILDREN DEVELOP FRIENDSHIPS AND WHAT YOU CAN DO TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

A NEW SCHOOL YEAR WILL BEGIN SOON.

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S FRIENDSHIP DEVELOPMENT?

AT HOME? AT SCHOOL? AT CHILDCARE?

  • What is your definition of a friend? What is your child's?
  • What is the difference between being a friend and being friendly?
  • How can you help your child have a successful playdate?

This talk will focus on how a young child develops relationships with other children and how you can support your child and these new relationships. The relationships with peers and siblings have similarities and differences which will be discussed.

You've read lots of parenting articles. You've seen the social media videos. You've talked with your friends and family. And yet you still have questions. You may wish that you just had someone to talk to. This talk is LIVE. It is not recorded. There will be Q&A.
